The Student Guidance Unit at Samtah University College carried out a meeting entitled “The Effective Role of Academic Guidance in Supporting the University Student’s Educational Career,” targeting female faculty members at the college. The meeting aimed to emphasize the role of the academic counselor in supporting the student’s educational career, and the importance of the student counselor being familiar with the requirements of optimal academic guidance. To achieve the desired role and contribute to addressing the problems that the student may face during his academic career and overcoming the difficulties and obstacles that the student faces. The importance of benefiting from different guidance methods, whether individual or group (direct and indirect), was also emphasized. The meeting concluded with valuable interventions by faculty members regarding the most prominent obstacles and difficulties facing the student advisor.
