His Highness the Governor of Jazan region patronizes the graduation ceremony of the 18th batch of Jazan University students

His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the region, sponsored this evening the Jazan University graduation ceremony of 9569 students, representing the 18th batch, in the open amphitheater in the University City.

Immediately after His Highness arrived at the ceremony, the march of the graduates, who represented the various scientific and literary faculties of the university and its qualitative specialized departments, began. It was followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.

After that, His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership - may God protect them - for the unlimited support for the university and its employees, and for His Highness the Governor of the region. He commended His Highness for his continuous care for the University’s graduates, and his eagerness to meet with them and motivate them towards excellence in their student and future lives. Dr. Al-Qahtani reiterated that Jazan University boasts and is proud today of its 18th batch of students who made their presence felt in forums and achieved several milestones and awards and they have become highly qualified and knowledgeable and capable of competing in building the present and our prosperous future, noting the support that the university, its employees, and its students received from His Highness the Emir of the region and His Highness his deputy, which enabled the university to achieve many great things.

Dr. Al-Qahtani recommended the graduates to make every effort to build the country and protect its security and stability, and to be the best ambassadors for their university. He also recommended them to be aware of those who discourage and distort the achievements and gains of the country on global communication platforms.

After that, a speech was given on behalf of graduates, by Muhammad bin Issa Madkhali, during which he expressed the thanks and appreciation of all graduates to His Highness the Emir of the region and His Highness his deputy for their patronage and continuous support for the university’s programs, and for motivating their male and female students. This was followed by a film announcing the result, which was produced by the University’s Media Department, after that Graduate students chanted the oath behind the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Yahya bin Ali Faqihi.

The ceremony witnessed the presentation of the song "The Graduation", written by the poet Ali Al-Amir, composed by the musician Nasser Al-Saleh, and performed by the artist Saad Al-Naji. The performances were presented by students of the Student Clubs of the Deanship of Student Affairs, and supervised by Musa Muharraq.

At the end of the ceremony, His Highness the Governor shook hands with the graduates, and memorial photos were taken.
