The Activities Committee of the Biology Department held a workshop entitled Career Guidance for Students of the Scientific Program, which was initiated by Dr. Yusra bint Ahmed Muzaffar delivered a welcoming speech to the attendees, male and female students of the department, and emphasized the importance of their presence as a basic pillar for the future and the vision of the country 2030. She also explained that the value of a faculty member derives from their education and preparation for post-graduation. Therefore, I noted that it is to further nourish their bright minds, and then come up with essential axes to improve their current academic life with all available elements of success. The workshop was attended by a large number of male and female students of the department, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Yahya Mashraqi (Head of the Biology Department and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs). She praised his effective role in supporting everything that serves students, raises their motivation and prepares them for a bright professional future. She also expressed her welcome and praise to Ms. Sarah Bint Hadi Daghreri (Technical Director of the Public Health Laboratory in Jazan) for kindly sharing rich information from her current work and being a graduate of the Biology Department. The most important licensed platforms and programs in the Kingdom for graduate development were reviewed and their importance in obtaining such as Qimam Program, Ghad for Volunteering, Hadaf, Doroob and Tamheer. Future jobs and fields of work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have also been clarified for holders of a bachelor's degree in biology, which includes many governmental and private agencies and ministries.
