Based on the university’s role in scientific research, education, and community service, as well as the new Saudi Universities System, the Institutionalization of Social Responsibility Initiative in Saudi Universities, and Jazan University’s Strategic Plan (2020–2025), which is aligned with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the “Jazan University Strategy for Community Service and Sustainable Development” was developed.

This strategy aims to institutionalize and effectively activate social responsibility within the framework of the university’s third core function, community service, and to achieve its related objectives. It seeks to maximize the utilization of the university’s resources and capabilities through the provision of diverse community services, initiatives, partnerships, and events. These efforts contribute to the development of community members, address their needs, and keep pace with the aspirations and expectations of stakeholders.
