Jazan University: Media Department

Jazan University achieved first place among Saudi universities in terms of the rate of employment of graduates in the labor market by 77%, and second place in the speed of employment of graduates in the labor market during the first year of graduation by 43%, according to the report issued by the National Observatory of Labor.

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mari bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, stated that this achievement confirms the excellence of the university’s graduates and its students, who were armed with the knowledge and skills that enabled them to obtain these opportunities. He thanked the graduates and students who are still studying, and extended his thanks to the employers for their confidence in the university’s outputs. In addition to the Emiratisation committees and the Center for Alumni Relations and Employment at the Deanship of Student Affairs, which work to settle and employ the people of the Kingdom.

His Excellency pointed out that Jazan University is working with all its apparatus and staff to ensure that the graduate of the university is distinguished and finds employment opportunities in the labor market and gains the trust of employers. In light of the presence of departments and centers for graduates in the Deanship of Student Affairs that follow up the tasks of employing university graduates and finding job opportunities for them.

His Excellency added that Jazan University is comprehensive and has most majors, adding that university students have worked in all sectors, including government, private and even the non-profit sector, and these opportunities existed and their percentages were reflected in this report, indicating that this percentage of a comprehensive university is a great gain for the university.
