Future Skills Required for Jazan University Students

By the grace and guidance of Allah, the Future Skills, Graduate Attributes, and Student Learning Outcomes of Jazan University were officially approved on Wednesday, 22 Sha’ban 1441 AH, marking the culmination of the work carried out by the project team responsible for developing the Jazan University Graduate Attributes and Student Learning Outcomes framework, as detailed below:

Jazan University Graduate Attributes

A Jazan University graduate is expected to be:

  • Proud of their Islamic faith and national identity, attentive to the Arabic language, and aware of the heritage of the local environment.

  • Committed to professional ethics and conduct.

  • A critical-thinking leader, capable of effective communication, ready to collaborate with others, and able to work effectively within a team.

  • Always prepared to serve the community through professional practice in their field of specialization or through volunteer service.

  • Equipped with the scientific and practical skills and competencies that enable them to compete in the labor market and to retain and advance in their careers.

  • Possessing a sound understanding of the principles of scientific research and capable of applying the scientific method within an ethical framework.

Jazan University Student Learning Outcomes

Upon graduation, a student should be able to:

  • Identify and evaluate the information required and apply discipline-specific knowledge and skills ethically in real-world contexts.

  • Lead others, positively influence them, and achieve effective outcomes.

  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using proper Arabic language skills.
