About the Vice Deanship for Research and Development
The Vice Deanship for Research and Development is dedicated to advancing the educational and research process and community service through joint work with the deanships and scientific departments of the College, and continuous communication with the Deanship of Academic Development at the University.
The Vice Deanship works to identify and resolve obstacles that hinder the academic process, developing permanent solutions that ensure continuous improvement in line with economic, technical, cultural and social changes. It also develops the skills of faculty, students, and staff, and assumes responsibility for accrediting the academic programs through an integrated internal quality system.
Tasks and Responsibilities

✓ Creating the culture of quality and promoting its concept at the college level |
✓ Creating an internal quality system and developing it continuously |

✓ Following up the college's achievement of academic accreditation requirements |
✓ Supervising the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of strategic and operational plans |

✓ Determining training needs of employees, students, faculty, and administrators |
✓ Motivating faculty members to provide training courses for college employees |
|
✓ Nominating faculty to participate in training courses offered by the Deanship of Academic Development |
✓ Highlighting distinguished creative efforts in education, research, and administration |

✓ Preparing and updating the organizational structure and unit task descriptions |
✓ Continuous communication with the Deanship of Academic Development for quality improvement |

✓ Submitting proposals to form committees related to the Vice Deanship's work |
✓ Coordinating with Vice Deans and Department Coordinators to achieve college goals |

✓ Preparing detailed reports on academic accreditation for college programs |
✓ Supervising the preparation of the Annual College Report |
