Jazan University: Media Department

Jazan University signed a service agreement with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, in the presence of His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Ihab bin Ghazi Al-Hashani. This was on the side lines of the Municipal Investment Forum “Furas” in its second edition, which is organized by the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing from 24 to 26 January in Riyadh.

The official spokesman for Jazan University, Mr. Musa Muharraq, explained that the agreement aims to adopt the investment portal in Saudi cities, "Furas", to announce, manage and offer real estate investment opportunities for the university, and projects that are subject to the university's jurisdiction to investors.

Adding that this agreement contributes to the development of means of offering projects and investments that fall under the jurisdiction of the university, by announcing them through the "opportunities" portal, in addition to improving the university's investment environment and attracting investments, towards the Saudi Vision 2030 and completing the legal procedures related to offering such as approvals, bid evaluation, awarding, and signing contracts.

It is noteworthy that "Furas" is an online portal launched by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs. To offer and manage municipal and real estate investment opportunities with government agencies, and to manage and advertise all real estate investment opportunities, which enables investors to identify them, view their details, and apply for them in accordance with the governing rules and regulations.
