Jazan University concludes the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021

Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Jazan University and in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naief Azyabi, His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan Ishaq, and a number of deans, and vice deans, of deanships and faculties and their employees, Jazan University, represented by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, concluded its activities for the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021. It was held at the auditorium of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology.

The Supervisor of the Innovation Center at the university, Dr. Omaima Al-Badri, explained that the propose of this event is to provide male and female students with labor market skills, establish a culture of entrepreneurship, and stimulate self-employment and investment.

Dr. Al-Badri indicated that the number of participants in the "The Pioneering Graduate 2" competition was 23 belonging to the various faculties of the university.

The Startup Award was withheld because the applicants did not meet the conditions and criteria of the award.

 The results of the competition were as follows: First position grabbed by students in the "Technical Projects" axis, were: Maha Ali Mohamed Mashhour from the College of Public Health and Tropical Medicine for her "Train with Efficiency" project, and Sahar Saad Al Hamdan from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology for her "Apply" project. Najik", and Arwa Hammoud Bellah from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, for her project, "University Map".

 The winners in the “Entrepreneurial Business and Support Services” category were: Waseem Ali Zilai Hashem from the College of Business Administration for his project entitled “Music bell”, and Yara Loay Munawar Al-Badri from the College of Design and Architecture for her project entitled “The Shooting Academy”, and Asmaa Ali Moussa Doshi from the College of Design and Architecture for her project entitled "Tourist Center in Jazan Region".

 At the conclusion of the events, the accompanying exhibitions were visited, namely the exhibition of the participating parties, the exhibition of entrepreneurs and startups, and the exhibition of winners of the Alumni Pioneering Competition in its second edition. Her Excellency thanked all the colleges and participating bodies and organizers of the events and activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021.
