Jazan University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, launches the initiative of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, to support students by providing them with laptops, with the aim of providing educational services to students in accordance with the highest approved technical standards.

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Othman bin Musa Hakami, explained that this initiative comes within the objectives of the Deanship to support university students during their educational journey, especially in light of these exceptional circumstances that we are going through. The mode of teaching being through distance education, the use of computers is one of the most important pillars of this educational pattern.
Dr. Al-Hakami indicated that the initiative enjoys the support of His Excellency the President of the University, who is keen to provide an educational environment for all students and to provide the facilities that would support the continuity of the educational process in all circumstances and conditions.
Dr. Al-Hakami indicated that this initiative is available to all University students and the appropriate conditions and norms shall be followed, as well as the disbursement of aid as per the student funds in educational institutions.
