The Scientific Research Unit at the University College in Al-Ardah organized for in the Physics Department a workshop entitled “How to write a distinguished scientific paper” on Thursday 13/7/1442 AH via the Zoom platform, presented by Dr. Shazlya.  It aimed  to Developing the skills of the final year students and raising their efficiency in the field of scientific research and the graduation project. It also aimed to help them find the occasion and search for it in the databases, learn how to create an account for publication on the google scholar, the social network Academia.edu and ResearchGate. It also insisted on the knowledge of the meaning of h index and how to calculate it. General advice before publication to avoid rejection and how to properly submit a paper to the journal in question, how to deal with referees' decisions were also focused on. The students were also directed to produce creative ideas either through graduation projects.
