The Vice Deanship of Research and Development at the University College of Samtah (formerly) and the Applied College of Samtah, represented by the Scientific Research Unit, launched the educational series in the field of scientific research, "Research Illuminations", which aims to develop knowledge and research skills among researchers. This series comes within the college's research initiatives that seek to promote a culture of scientific research among the college's female staff, especially emerging female researchers, and motivate the provision of high-quality research production. This series provides rich and brief information on various topics, including the principles of scientific research, its characteristics, some of its common terms, means of obtaining a research idea, and recommendations on sources of information gathering and literature review. It will also shed light on the various scientific research methods and data collection and analysis tools. The series will also address some highlights on the importance and steps of writing a research proposal and writing a research paper, citation rules and documentation of references, stages of publishing research in peer-reviewed journals, as well as some recommendations on choosing the journal to publish the research. The content of the educational series will be published throughout the current semester through the college's website and the college's account on the Twitter platform.
