Within the activities of the Department of Home Economics included in the student activity plan of the Applied College in Samtah, the craft program was activated under the title "Creative Fingers" under the auspices of His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Ma'ad Siddiq, the Vice Deans, the Head of the Department of Home Economics, Ms. Maysoon Steffi, and a number of faculty members and college employees . Whereas, the craft program is considered to enhance the culture of simple handicrafts, whether functional or aesthetic, which can be relied upon as an initial nucleus for starting a small project for students of the Department of Home Economics. The objectives of the program include presenting the students’ products and projects from the practical and theoretical courses that were taught during the current semester, such as flower arranging, maintenance of facilities, the principles of disposing of parties, textiles and printing, coordinating exhibitions, interior design, special projects, decoration, managing family resources... and others. of courses. The exhibition also aims to train female students in different ways of presenting products and producing projects that are marketable as much as possible.
