About the College

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of revelation, the heart of Muslims all over the world, which are the light of Islam. Therefore the Kingdom has taken upon itself to carry its responsibility, and has adopted its eternal law, the Shariah as its constitution and a guiding light. The basic system of governance in the Kingdom includes: protecting the doctrine of Islam and applying its Sharia, enjoining good and forbidding what is wrong, and fulfilling the duty of calling to God Almighty‘s religion. Hence, the system of Sharia colleges in the Kingdom’s universities is to serve the aspirations of the rulers in achieving the principles and values ​​of our religion. The College of Sharia and Law at Jizan University is one of these colleges. The approval for its establishment was issued on 1/21/1432 AH, and the college has a specific vision, a clear mission, and lofty goals that it seeks to achieve. The study period is four years, after which it gives the graduate a Bachelor’s degree, and it has a trimester system.
