| About the Center

The Substance Abuse and Toxicology Research Center was established at Jazan University on 24 Rabi` al-Awwal in the year 1432 AH (corresponding to February 27, 2011 AD) with a generous grant from the Ministry of Education to become the first promising center at Jazan University and the first center of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The center is concerned with specializing in drug and toxicology research and its effects on health and ways to prevent it.

Center Vision

A distinguished research center renowned nationally and internationally for its scientific research in the field of psychotropic substances and toxicology.

Center Tasks

• Rebuilding the center's administrative and research system in line with its activities and responsibilities.
• Increasing the financial support of the center to achieve all its research objectives.
